Summary

This position is responsible to manage, staff and supervise 12 full-time security officers that are responsible for 24 hours-a-day, 7-days- a-week security operations. The Security Chief will develop, coordinate, and implement company security policies and procedures as well as ensure all initial annual training for security personnel is conducted and recorded.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a 24-hour security staffing schedule. Coordinate security actions and procedures with other department managers as needed. May be required to perform day-to-day security duties in the absence of adequate security force staffing. Conduct internal investigations and coordinate with local state law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed for accidents, thefts, workplace violence, and other similar situations and provide written investigative report on the findings. Manage and supervise all security administrative functions. Other duties responsibilities as assigned. Must be computer literate with experience with MS Office including Word and Excel software to create spreadsheets and manage data. Requires effective verbal and written communication skills with a thorough knowledge of business English, spelling and grammar and excellent human relations, customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

Resume is required and must contain contact information, related work experience/history, skills, and educational information. High school diploma or GED and a valid driver license is required. Five (5) years security or law enforcement experience preferred. Preference given to those with prior supervisory experience.
