As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work on a full range of marketing activities, including go-to-market activities, messaging, positioning, pricing, packaging, content development, etc., for the FireEye Network Security portfolio. In addition, you will develop, and execute marketing programs to generate awareness, build thought leadership, and drive demand while working closely with sales, channel, engineering and other teams to accomplish your goals.
Know the technology, market and competition; you will have to be a trusted, subject matter expert on network security.
Be able to articulate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for FireEye Network Security solutions.
Bridge gaps between various organization functions: PMM, PM, Engineering, Sales and Operations
Develop positioning and collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing, packaging, and promotion.
Develop and communicate Network Security value propositions to sales teams and develop sales tools that support the selling process of the Network Security portfolio.
Develop compelling materials that raise awareness, educate prospects, demonstrate value, and drive new deals and follow-on sales.
Be the expert on FireEye Network Security buyers and be able to articulate value to the customer.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a technical field is required, MBA desirable
1-3 years of product marketing experience
Experience with enterprise networking and/or security products is a must
Desire to win; be ready and able to demonstrate a proven track record of success
Be able to conceive, as well as work with proposed ideas in a team environment
Have strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and sales communities
Provide excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency
Demonstrate creative energy
Be able to travel (up to 20% of the time)
