The Security/Fire Command Lead is responsible for overseeing all duties being performed inside the Security Surveillance Room to include the understanding and operating of the fire control panel, Operating the Dallmeier Surveillance system, the retaining and copying video coverage, the utilization of the Security Reporting System (iTrak), operating the emergency distribution system (Everbridge) and the training/familiarization of all the above-mentioned systems to all Security personnel.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Monitor panic alarm systems and surveillance cameras.
Communicate Panic Alarms to Security Management to ensure that the alarms are properly reset.
Request repairs to any system that is not functioning properly within the command center and communicate the requests to Security Management.
Monitor Fire Control Panel alarm system; partner and consult with Engineering department leaders to ensure all systems are operational as it relates to the Fire Control Panel and provide training and updates to any changes to the system.
Maintain and oversee the sign in log for the Fire Command Center.
Train Security Officers in Surveillance monitoring and reinforce standards and policies for the Command Center.
Verify that all entries called into dispatch are logged within the i-Trak reporting system.
Ensures Security dispatch operations and/or emergencies responses are being managed in accordance with company and department standards.
Operate and oversee communications with Everbridge Mass Notification system.
Ensure radio communication is maintained with Law Enforcement personnel while they are on property.
Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues involving both guests and employees; escalate to department leadership, as needed.
Complete Security reports when requested to do so by Security Management.
Perform other job related duties as requested
Security Officers performing various duties inside the Command Center
At least 6 months of experience as a Security Officer Level III.
At least two (2) years of guest services experience
Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Maryland Gaming License
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Valid Driver's License
